George III Provincial Solid Silver Tea Set. A beautiful provincial silver tea set, dating to Newcastle 1799. The set consisting of teapot with matching stand and sugar bowl. Executed in typical late 18th Century neoclassical style. All three pieces with attractive engraved borders and cartouches.

The teapot featuring a carved wooden pineapple-form finial. Fully hallmarked for Christian Ker Reid, Newcastle 1799.

In antique condition with some wear. Cartouches show signs or erased initials and crests.

Lots of solder visible from the inside of the teapot. Quite a number of dings and surface wear, particularly to teapot.
