A good quality, antique English, 3 piece, sterling silver tea set. Made in London by Thomas Robbins, dated 1813/1814, George III.
Tea pot, sugar & creamer. The round shape bodies with converging flutes and applied gadroon borders. Each piece standing on 4 ball feet.
The tea pot with a flush hinge & sterling finial. The cast spouts on the teapot & creamer with acanthus detail, as well as the handles on the creamer & sugar bowl.
No monograms, inscriptions or removals. The set is of a good gauge, and in very good condition. The 3 pieces weigh a total of 1504 grams = 48.35 troy oz = 53 regular ounces.
