Despite the importance of his work, little is known of Farrell. Grimade notes that he created some of the most "unusual productions" of the Regency period (page 508). Best known for his richly decorated tea services with Dutch peasant scenes in the Teniers manner. The fact that this tea set is not Teniers decorated, makes it even more important. His work is found in the Metropolitan, New York, Boston Museum Fine Arts and The Victoria & Albert, London to name a few.This important British Britannia standard Regency coffee pot.
