A very impressive solid silver art deco tea set made in the odeonesque angular style so evocative of the Art Deco era. Made by Bartons of Bangalore this is a very good quality colonial silver tea set being made of a very thick heavy gauge sterling silver. The sucrier and milk jug are both gilded to the inside to protect the silver. The tea set is of a tea for two size. Each piece marked Barton silver on the foot.
