Antique Repousse Ornate 3 Piece Tea Set Figural Decorations 925 Silver London. Antique English sterling silver 3-piece tea set: teapot, creamer & sugar bowl, richly decorated with repousse floral, shell and scroll patterns all around the bodies. All pieces have engraved swan crest on side. There are caryatid figures on the handles as well as figural flower finial on the teapot's hinged lid. The pot has floral patterns on the base and spout; it's made by Solomon Hougham, Solomon Royes & John East Dix, 1817. The creamer and sugar bowl are made by Edward Barton, 1833. This spectacular set measures: the teapot is 6 1/4" in diameter, 10 3/4" from spout to handle and appr. 5 3/4" tall (including the finial); the bowl is 5 1/2" in diameter, 8 1/4" from handle to handle and 4" tall; the creamer is 4 1/4" in diameter, 6 1/2" from spout to handle and 3 1/2 tall. Total weight is 1,644 grams or 52.9 Ozs. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
