Belle Epoque era antique French sterling silver 2-piece coffee/tea and dessert set. The serving pieces comprising of a sugar sifter spoon and sugar tongs. The handles patterned with elegant Louis XVI/Rococo styling, decorated with scrolling foliage, rocailles and flowers around an asymmetrical cartouche monogrammed with interlaced LL initials. The sifter spoon having a fluted and intricately pierced bowl, meant for sprinkling powdered sugar over fruit or dessert. The sugar tongs are finished with stylized lion paws tipped with fierce claws.A beautiful serving set kept in the original fitted presentation storage box.
