Antique Early 20th Century Birks Sterling King George III Melon Style Tea Set. This is a gorgeous antique early 20th century, probably 1920's Birks sterling silver four piece tea set in a King George III Melon style pattern. Teapot (approximately 6 1/8" tall by 13" from handle to spout, with a depth of 1 1/4 deep). Coffee Pot (approximately 9 7/8" tall by 11 1/4" from spout to handle, with a depth of 6 1/4 deep). Cream (approximately 4 1/2" tall by 7 1/4" from spout to handle, with a depth of 2 5/8 deep).
Sugar (approximately 4 3/8" tall by 8 3/8" from handle to handle, with a depth of 2 1/2 deep). All piece's have a Birks makers mark, sterling, with a model number of 55/2, 55/3, 55/4, and 55/5. This set is Not monogrammed. The weight of this sterling silver set weighs approximately 3,061.3 Grams or 98.42 T/oz.This set is previously owned. This tea set has light surface scratches, ware, tarnish, and a few minor dings. The teapot's handle is slightly loose. Overall this antique tea set is in great condition.
