Presented is a fine quality 4-piece sterling silver tea and coffee set from England. Each piece has a body with a ribbed design that is raised on four bun feet. The handles of the coffee and tea pot are completely wooden or composition, while the creamer and sugar bowl have thin, looped silver handles. The rim of each piece has a ruffled design. This set includes: 1 Teapot: 11 5/8 inches from handle to tip of spout and 6 1/8 inches tall.1 Coffeepot: 7 3/4 inches from handle to tip of spout and 8 7/8 inches tall. 1 Creamer: 6 1/4 inches from handle to tip of spout and 4 1/4 inches tall.
1 Sugar Bowl: 8 inches from handle to handle and 4 5/8 inches tall. All pieces are marked on the side of the body with the anchor symbol for the city of Birmingham, the lion passant for sterling silver and an unknown makers mark of JGLTD. All pieces apart from the coffee pot have a date letter P for the year 1914, the coffee pot has a date letter L for the year 1910. This set is in excellent condition.
There is a small break to the upturned decoration on the top of the coffeepot handle. There are a few very minor dents to some of the bodies.
