A set of engraved sterling silver favorable pear shaped four-piece tea/coffee set, made in 1865 by Henry John Lias & Henry John Lias, London. Hand wrought with hammered traces all around pieces, a typical top grade hand-made silverware in Victorian time. The set was beautifully engraved with floral patterns which are still sharp. The lids of teapot and coffee pot fit the body very well, again showing the top workmanship.There's an original casted bird finial on the top of the lid of tea/coffee pot, with fit identical hallmarks as the teawares. Combined weight: approximately 2217 grams. Height of the coffee pot: about 26 cm.
